Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in constructing the cores of industrial radiators. You will be working in a dynamic environment, operating a slitting machine, and collaborating closely with team members to ensure the efficient assembly of radiator cores.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a slitting machine by loading spools of various metals and ensuring smooth operation without jams.

  • Work collaboratively in teams of two to assemble the radiator cores using handles to insert metal pipes through core sheathing.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in assembly or machine operation.

  • At least 1 year of experience using power tools.

  • Proficiency in reading a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with mechanical assembly and blueprint reading.

  • Familiarity with operating an overhead crane.

Work Environment

This position is based in an assembly and fabrication shop that produces industrial radiators for warehouses, production facilities, and data centers. The facility is clean and organized, although not temperature controlled, and can become warm, especially in the core area due to the solder dipping process. The position operates on the 2nd shift from 1:30 pm to 12 am and reports to the Assembly Supervisor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENOSHA, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
