Job Description Summary The Inventory Analyst supports inventory planning and performance management by analyzing inventory positions, trends, and drivers to improve service, working capital, and inventory health. Sitting within Supply Chain Planning, this role enables data-driven, risk-aware, and digitally enabled inventory insights that support supply, deployment, and IBP decision-making. This role focuses on analysis, monitoring, and issue identification, operating within defined inventory policies and governance. Job Description Inventory Analysis & Monitoring Monitor inventory levels, coverage, and health across assigned products, locations, or networks Analyze inventory drivers including demand variability, supply performance, and planning parameters Identify risks such as excess, obsolescence, or service exposure and escalate with supporting data Inventory Performance Reporting Support inventory performance metrics including days of supply, turns, and policy adherence Prepare clear inventory storytelling to support supply and IBP discussions Maintain inventory dashboards and standard reports Policy & Parameter Support Support inventory policies, safety stock parameters, and replenishment settings Validate master data inputs including lead times, lot sizes, and service levels Reduce reliance on manual analysis through digitally enabled inventory workflows Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Planning, Deployment, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to resolve inventory issues Support alignment on inventory assumptions and targets Communicate inventory risks and insights clearly and timely Continuous Improvement & Skill Development Leverage planning tools and analytics to improve inventory insight quality Perform routine inventory segregation tasks in SAP Facilitate special inventory requests and streamline processes to promote efficiency. Monitor inventories, provide insights/resources to appropriate workgroups and inspire them to take ownership over process gaps and monitoring.
