We are seeking to hire a qualified candidate within Waterville Maine or surrounding areas to fill the role of Shared Living Service Coordinator. (SL-Service Coordinator)
The SL-Service Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Adult Services at Generations, LLC within the Shared Living Department.
The SL-Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and meeting with individuals, their families, Case Managers or Care Coordinators, and other people whom the individual identifies as relevant to the process of joining our Shared Living Service. The SL-Service Coordinator should be able to represent the agency, and answer questions to assist the individual in determining whether the service is right for them.
Once interest in joining the service is confirmed, the SL-Service Coordinator is responsible for planning, initiating and overseeing the service to ensure they are meeting the individual\'s goals of getting out in their chosen community while working on their goals.
Ideally the chosen candidate will have experience/familiarity with Maine Section 21 and 29 waiver services, possess strong organizational skills, have the ability to work within and also lead a team, ability to effectively supervise, train, evaluate, and support the Direct Support Professionals (DSP\'s). The chosen candidate should demonstrate good judgement, communicate effectively with all team members, be dependable and able to meet deadlines with the demands of the position while maintaining courtesy and tact.
