Line Cooks: 17 openings at Kyick Charters, LLC, doing business as The Pilot, in Kennebunk, ME 04043, Phone: (207) 204-0709. Various duties as assigned, such as preparing foods and kitchen for the day, including chopping, cutting, pulling food from walk-ins, starting equipment, etc., preparing and cooking foods/meals to order according to recipes, serving prepared meals to waitstaff, cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, etc., closing kitchen at the end of the night by cleaning, taking care of food and waste, and shutting off all equipment. 40+hrs./wk., Monday-Sunday (2 days off, varies), shifts start as early as 9:00am and end as late as 11:30pm (multiple shifts available, varies), \$22.25 - \$26.00 per hour, overtime possible at \$33.38-\$39.00 per hour; temporary full-time position (April 1, 2026, to November 1, 2026). No minimum education or experience required; on-the-job training provided; performance-based raise and/or bonus possible; employee meal provided during shift; employer offers to help workers with finding housing. Paid weekly using a single workweek as the standard for computing wages due. Standard payroll deductions as required by law. No deduction for housing; worker responsible for their own housing cost; employer offers to assist worker with finding housing.
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if worker completes half the employment period; the amount for daily subsistence will be at least \$16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of \$68.00 per day with receipts; return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Reimbursement within one week after the start of work of visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The employer will provide workers, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
