Description
Join Amazon’s growing Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team as an Trade Assistant (RME Operator) at our Kemps Creek site.
As an RME Operator you will be supporting the maintenance and repair of our conveyor and building technology as well as production systems in our logistics center. Together with the technical team, you will ensure high availability of the technical systems through a high degree of initiative and the necessary technical know-how.

Key job responsibilities
Perform approved preventive, reactive, and condition-based monitoring maintenance tasks on various equipment
Replace spare parts on equipment following standard operating procedures
Use of laptop/tablet for managing work orders
Use of basic workshop tools/approved working at height activities
Ensuring safe and clean work station during and after performing works
Complete additional training to broaden your skills within RME
Basic Qualifications
1-3+ years of Hands-on experience in technical maintenance within manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments
Experience with basic mechanical fault finding, equipment inspections, assisting tradespeople or technicians
Experience with maintenance management systems
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocols
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications

Trade-related certificate (e.g. Certificate in Engineering, Electrotechnology, Industrial Skills etc.) or partially completed trade qualification
