About the role
The Supply Chain Planning Manager leads end-to-end supply chain performance through strategic inventory planning, supplier management, and data-driven decision-making—optimising working capital, service, and operational efficiency while driving continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement inventory optimisation strategies to balance service levels, working capital, and supply risk.
Oversee daily supply chain operations, including demand planning, replenishment, order management, fulfilment, and material coordination.
Manage relationships with key suppliers and intercompany factories.
Oversee supplier performance frameworks, focusing on delivery reliability, lead times, quality compliance, and responsiveness.
Develop supply chain personnel through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
Drive DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) performance and implement backorder reduction strategies.
Promote a safe working environment and consistently practice safe behaviours.
Skills and Experience:
Degree in Supply Chain, Business or other related field.
7+ years’ experience leading a Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Customer Service team.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience in spare parts, including but not limited to pipes and pumps, in an Engineering environment is preferable.
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
Experience, knowledge, and understanding of digital systems and processes to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
