Oftedal Construction, Inc. Heavy Equipment Operator - Kemmerer, WY in Kemmerer, Wyoming
Operate heavy equipment to move construction materials, earth, and rock on heavy-civil construction sites to build highways, roads, bridges, airport runways, power generation facilities, dams, levees, other earthern structures, etc.
- Perform daily pre-operation/inspection checks and complete daily inspection reports.
- Immediately report malfunctioning equipment/components and safety defects to supervisor.
- Complete tasks, assignments and activities given in English.
- Coordinate machine actions with verbal (English) instructions or hand signals.
- Well developed ability to communicate verbally .
- Move levers, push pedals, rotate steering wheels, turn valves to activate hydraulic lines powering booms, sticks, cylinders and heavy equipment implements.
- Proficiently and safely operate and maneuver heavy equipment in remote locations, variety of terrain, and ground conditions, tight spaces and around light or high volume traffic areas.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Travel in and around the company trade area: (CO, MT, ND, NE, SD & WY)
