About the Role
As an Outpatient Oncology RN / Case Manager , you will provide direct oncology and infusion care while helping coordinate and support patients throughout their treatment journey. This role blends hands‑on clinical excellence with case management, education, and community connection .
Oncology or infusion experience is preferred—but we will train a strong RN who is eager to grow in this specialty.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an outpatient oncology setting
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side‑effect management, and symptom control
Participate in case management functions, including care coordination and patient follow‑up
Support program development, performance improvement, and cost‑effective clinic operations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
Education / Licensure / Certification
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
Current Hawai‘i State RN license
BLS/HCP certification required
ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire
Experience & Skills
Oncology and/or infusion experience preferred
Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to build and sustain positive professional relationships
Willingness to train and grow in an outpatient oncology setting
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Physical Demands (Essential Functions):
Seeing, hearing, speaking, sitting
Fine motor skills and finger dexterity
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
Work Conditions:
Primarily clinic‑based with exposure to clinical and environmental conditions
Use of standard clinical and office equipment
