The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOC) is looking for a qualified Field Electronic Engineer - PT(On Call) to provide Auxiliary System Support Services for our government customer in Kauai, Hawai'i. This is a Part-Time On-Call position.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific Lead Field Electronic Engineer duties include:
Scheduling Field Electronic Engineers rotating shifts and duty assignments to ensure required two-man coverage 24/7/365 at the AAMDTC and LF complexes. Development, assignment and monitoring of Field Electronic Engineer training.
Cost control using best practices to minimize overtime or additional costs while meeting required manning
Coordinating work flow, reporting, and activities with the AAMDTC TCOR (Technical Contract Representative) and Kupono Program Office/Program Manager
Production and submission of CDRLS or deliverables as required
Attendance of the weekly AAMDTC SERT meetings
Performance of Field Electronic Engineering duties
Other duties required.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ and Linux+ certifications, UCC patching and STIG applications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
All personnel are required to monitor and/or operate systems, report and record any change in configuration or equipment functionality to:
Fire extinguishing equipment
Power generation and distribution systems
HVAC systems
Low Pressure air compression/drying systems
Static frequency converters
Universal Control Console (UCC)
Power Control and Management System (PCMS)
Building Automation Systems
All personnel shall make periodic safety and security rounds as directed. Personnel will observe, take, and record equipment readouts, usage, and utilities consumption as required.
All personnel coordinate maintenance activities and manage overall operations and support for mechanical and electrical systems, operate and monitor, and perform emergency/casualty response for all auxiliary machinery equipment to include:
Power generation and distribution system
HVAC system
Low pressure air compressor and drying system
Fire suppression system
Machinery Controls
All personnel may be required to perform other additional duties or requirements as assigned.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
All personnel may be required to investigate auxiliary system status at the physical locations of the systems within the site location.
All personnel may be required to act as security escort and interface with other organizations performing maintenance actions within AAMDTC facilities.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
