Ultimate LLC Civil Construction Foreman in Kansas
Civil Construction Foreman
Ultimate LLC is looking to hire a Civil Foreman for projects across the Midwest and Southern regions, including Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado. The pay range is $28-$35 per hour based on experience, with an average workweek of 45-75 hours, including overtime paid at time and a half. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole, plus benefits and bonus eligibility.
Ultimate Site Civil Foreman Responsibilities
Excavate footings, tower foundations, anchors, grounding trenches, and power/telephone trenches.
Install ground rods, ground rings, and ensure acceptable Thermo Welded joints.
Assemble conduits per site drawings and supervisor instructions.
Tie rebar, pour concrete, and finish/rub foundations and slabs.
Backfill and pack excavations to prevent settling.
Operate skid-steers, backhoes, excavators, and compacting equipment.
Conduct concrete testing (slump and compression strength tests).
Drive company vehicles to transport materials to construction sites.
Coordinate daily tasks, adjust plans for weather or supply issues, and delegate responsibilities to crew members.
Train, manage, and mentor crew members while ensuring safe use of tools, machinery, and PPE.
Maintain project budgets, quality standards, and compliance with laws and safety regulations.
Resolve conflicts quickly and report project status to supervisors and site engineers.
Assist in keeping trucks and equipment organized and well-maintained.
Participate in daily safety meetings.
Ultimate Site Civil Foreman Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years of construction or equipment operation experience preferred, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of employment.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage crews effectively.
Desire to learn and operate heavy equipment.
Willingness to travel for up to two weeks at a time and work in various weather conditions.
