School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Caseload: Approximately 25–30 students
Pay: Up to $60 per hour
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an Early Education Center in Kansas City, MO. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP who enjoys working with young learners and values strong team support while helping children build foundational communication skills during critical developmental years.
Position Overview
The School Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluation and therapy services to early childhood students, supporting speech, language, and communication development in a nurturing educational environment. You will work closely with a collaborative school team and receive ongoing support from a larger SLP team, ensuring shared expertise, mentorship, and professional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services to early childhood students
Evaluate students and develop individualized plans of care
Deliver individual and group therapy sessions aligned with student goals
Document services and student progress in accordance with educational and professional standards
Participate in IEP development and meetings as required
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented therapy environment
Caseload & Setting
Early Education Center setting
Caseload of approximately 25–30 students
Strong collaboration with on-site staff
Ongoing support and partnership with the broader SLP team
