What you'll do...
The Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of initiatives within H&R Block’s Financial Product Portfolio, partnering closely with product, technology, finance, compliance, and operations teams. This role is responsible for managing project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure the successful delivery of customer-focused financial products. The ideal candidate brings strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, disciplined project management practices, and the ability to drive results in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.

Manage end-to-end delivery of financial product initiatives from planning through launch
Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, and business objectives
Track risks, dependencies, and issues; proactively drive resolution
Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders
Ensure projects align with portfolio priorities, regulatory requirements, and customer impact goals
What you'll bring to the team...
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
Work Experience:
Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group; ability to lead in a matrix environment and at a distance (virtually)
Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group as a member of a team
Demonstrated decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated effectiveness in presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels, with strong facilitation and presentation skills
3 years minimum related work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools
Familiarity with Project Management methodologies
Track record of establishing priorities and deadlines

Work Experience:
Experience in a consulting environment.
Familiarity with compliance (regulatory, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), etc.) and governance issues.
PMP certification, or equivalent, or completed work towards PMP certification, or equivalent.
Some tax or financial background.
