The LAUNCH Program Manager is responsible for leading a diverse team in the successful delivery and portfolio management of a broad set of external enterprise initiatives, from inception through final close-out, including the development and implementation of business ideas and initiatives planning, processes, procedures, strategy, execution plans, resource planning, risk management, and reporting tools. The LAUNCH Program Manager will lead the program management team in a dynamic, profitable manner, aligned with Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service. The LAUNCH Program Manager will support the initiative managers and associated stakeholders in a collaborative manner to drive efficiencies, portfolio visibility and prioritization.
Lead the development and execution of overall LAUNCH Program strategic business initiatives to achieve goals and objectives.
Responsible for the ownership, management, and maintenance of the LAUNCH Program framework, budget and expenditure of funds related to the LAUNCH Program.
Serve as a strategic partner to the Business Initiative Teams in the development and execution of their business initiatives.
Responsible for driving systems integration and the implementation of data collection, data management, data analytics and reporting tools to drive efficiency in reporting to enable strategic decisions regarding program budgets and schedule risks.
Achieve stated targets and standards for the LAUNCH Program performance.
Interface with the Business Initiative Management Team and Accounting Department to review project costs and contingency costs and support external audits.
Present regular LAUNCH Program updates and information to leadership, including forecasts and portfolio updates.
Develop and execute a multi-year AI roadmap for LAUNCH.
Champion the adoption of AI-powered solutions to drive efficiency and generate insights for the program.
Empower the LAUNCH Program to identify opportunities to transform processes and enhance analytics with AI, including generative and agentic AI tools.
Own and improve the LAUNCH Program data governance. Implement frameworks and policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Enhance data quality controls, standardize key data definitions, and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
Establish clear data ownership and stewardship within the program.
Partner with other stakeholders, including Business Enablement, IT, Transformation, HR, Marketing, etc., to advance Burns & McDonnell’s overall data strategy.
Support strategies for cross-selling engineering services across the organization.
Responsible for the recruitment, development, training, and retention of staff.
Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for department staff.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department.
Lead, mentor, and inspire the LAUNCH Program team to create actionable insights for stakeholders across multiple levels, including initiative, program, division, and company.
Set clear goals, prioritize workloads, and ensure timely delivery of LAUNCH initiatives.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement.
Responsible for interpreting the organization's policies, purposes, and goals to staff.
Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence.
Enforce compliance with company and site safety policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing or related degree from an accredited program and 10 years of related professional experience required.
Experience leading a multi-discipline team that has executed and managed new business startup initiatives or programs.
Strong experience in client and business development.
Experience in managing initiatives, which includes scoping, budgeting, schedule management, project controls, systems integration, communication, and stakeholder coordination.
Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated success as to budget, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects.
Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage.
Excellent planning and analytical skills.
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including program and/or portfolio management.
