Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to lead and enhance our production processes, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity are consistently met. This role emphasizes lean manufacturing and driving results while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coach teams on safety, quality, and productivity to ensure objectives are met by following standardized work procedures.

  • Focus on lean manufacturing practices, emphasizing efficiency and safety.

  • Manage weekly payroll, ensuring employees are compensated in a timely manner.

  • Be flexible to work rotating shifts every four months, including day, mid, and overnight shifts, and be available to work any day of the week.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production supervision and management.

  • Knowledge of assembly processes and safety standards.

  • Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.

  • Strong process improvement skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work heavy hours, typically 60-70 hours per week, including weekends.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.87 - $30.87/hr.
