Description We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is essential for managing end-to-end procurement processes, collaborating with departments to ensure efficient operations, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies. Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle, from initial planning to final execution and contract management.
• Conduct market research and collaborate with various departments to design comprehensive scopes of work.
• Manage procurement activities for construction projects and administrative support services.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Utilize tools like DocuSign, PeopleSoft, and Bonfire to support procurement operations.
• Prepare and analyze data using Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions, to inform decision-making.
• Negotiate contracts and establish purchase orders to meet organizational needs.
• Support the implementation of new procurement systems and processes as required.
• Provide guidance and expertise to departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience in corporate procurement, including end-to-end purchasing processes.
• Strong understanding of procurement functions, including market research and policy compliance.
• Familiarity with tools like DocuSign, PeopleSoft, and Bonfire.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and use VLOOKUP functions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage contracts effectively.
• Experience with procurement in construction and administrative support environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments to achieve project objectives.
