ManpowerGroup Logistics Coordinator in Kansas City, Missouri

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $20/hr - $24/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

  • Execute daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

  • Prepare and process shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.

  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments via various logistics providers.

  • Inspect outgoing shipments to meet quality standards and prevent transit damage.

  • Utilize ERP and Warehouse Management Systems to update shipment status and inventory levels in real-time.

What's Needed?

  • 2–4 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination within a US-based distribution or manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to adapt quickly between routine tasks and high-priority assignments.
