Our client, a leader in telecommunications infrastructure, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the assembly and installation of critical network infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: N egotiable

Shift: M-F 8am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Assemble main distribution frames according to technical specifications and engineering drawings

• Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cables on distribution blocks

• Mount and secure distribution blocks, cable management systems, and protective devices

• Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting of assembled frames

• Label cables and equipment according to company standards

What's Needed?

• Associate degree in electronics, telecommunication, or related fields

• Industry certification (BICSI, CompTIA Network+, or similar)

• Experience with specific MDF manufacturers (e.g., Siemon, CommScope, Panduit)

• Knowledge of network infrastructure and data center environments

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
