Saint Luke's Construction Project Manager in Kansas City, Missouri

Job Description​

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all phases of healthcare construction projects to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from initial planning and design through project closeout and final completion

• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts

• Monitor schedules and expenditures to ensure projects remain on track and within approved funding

• Lead the selection and coordination of architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors

• Oversee contract administration and vendor performance

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Joint Commission and hospital standards

• Conduct quality assurance and safety oversight throughout the construction process

• Assist with budgeting, procurement, and installation of medical equipment

• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project schedules, budgets, and milestones

• Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to design standards, bidding processes, reporting, and project management practices

Healthcare construction and design background is ideal.
