Compensation: \$67,975-\$93,466. Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.

SUMMARY
Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) is seeking a strategic, student-centered leader to serve as our Director of Admissions and Recruitment. This role provides vision and creative leadership for the Colleges recruitment strategy and admissions services, and oversees planning, implementation, compliance, and administrative management to support enrollment growth and student success.
Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services (EMSS), the Director serves on the EMSS Leadership Team and ensures recruitment and admissions efforts align with the Colleges mission, values, strategic priorities, and commitment to serving a diverse student population.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Strategic Leadership & Enrollment Planning
Lead the development and execution of the Colleges annual recruitment plan in alignment with the Strategic Enrollment Management Plan.
Collaborate with EMSS and campus leadership to analyze enrollment data, identify trends, and recommend effective recruitment and admissions strategies.
Represent the College on school district committees and councils, partnering with Academic Affairs on joint evaluation, assessment, and placement initiatives.
Serve as a liaison to national, regional, state, and local organizations that promote best practices in admissions and recruitment.
Stay current on national trends through professional development, conferences, and industry engagement.
Operations & Department Management
Provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, including:
For-credit recruitment.
Application processing.
Dual-credit high school programs.
College Operator services.
International student services.
Develop, implement, and assess office policies, procedures, and technology systems that support departmental and College goals.
Ensure high standards of customer service and establish clear staff accountability measures aligned with admissions best practices.
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate admissions staff.
Marketing & Institutional Image
Partner with the Marketing & Institutional Image Department to develop and implement print, web, email, and social media communication strategies that support recruitment goals and strengthen institutional branding.
Collaborate on publications and materials designed to reach diverse student populations.
Develop and oversee a student ambassador program to support recruitment efforts and service opportunities across campus.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services in support of College and EMSS strategic priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree.
Five (5) years of full-time experience in college admissions, with increasing levels of responsibility, including supervision of professional staff.
