Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Lutheran Home at Kane. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide compassionate patient care and support to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Assist with mobility and transportation of residents within the facility.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents at all times.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills.
