Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure that sales processes and activities meet standards in the water industry. This role involves conducting sales analyses, performing market research, and developing and implementing sales plans. The Sales Specialist works closely with cross functional teams to address customer needs, perform competitive analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring sales staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Strong technical skills, a thorough understanding of sales methodologies, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing

• Develop and maintain sales strategies

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities

• Create and implement marketing campaigns

• Analyze market trends and customer needs

• Collaborate with marketing team to create sales materials

• Attend industry events and conferences

• Build and maintain relationships with clients

• Conduct product demos and presentations

• Negotiate and close sales deals

Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients

• Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns

• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention

• Follow up with clients to ensure ongoing sales and support

Product Knowledge

• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends

• Train and educate clients on product features and benefits

• Monitor competitors' products and pricing

Sales Administration

• Maintain accurate sales records and reports

• Manage sales pipeline and forecast

• Coordinate with sales team to ensure efficient operations

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with sales team to achieve overall sales goals

• Share best practices and provide support to team members

• Participate in team meetings and trainings

• Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth sales process.

Qualifications:

• Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and plans.
