Cottonwood Drive, Kalispell, MT, to fill out an application or drop off your resume.Questions: Give us a call at 406-756-0516 or email your resume to glaciercollisionworx.rick@gmail.com.------------------------------------------------------------------------JOB SUMMARYThe Detailer is responsible for preparing vehicles for the repair process by pre-washing vehicles, pre-scan mapping, detailing, and performing final wash/detail before customer delivery.DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform pre-wash and pre-scan on vehicles after checking in before repairs. • Documenting damage and assisting with repair prep (damage mapping) • Pre-washing and detailing customer vehicles before and after repairs • Scanning vehicles before and after for advanced safety systems (ADAS) • Inspecting final repairs and prepping vehicles for delivery or calibration • Assist in buffing out light scratches; installation of trim and cosmetic parts, etc., paint prep as needed. • Assist the parts department with inspection of new parts and cardboard recycling. • Port customer vehicles as needed for technicians, or sublet repairs. • Assisting with shop upkeep, body tech support, and general duties • Performs other duties as required.EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:• Ability to receive and follow directions • Work independently without direct supervision • Previous automotive or detailing experience is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right person! • Reliable and motivated team player • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving recordPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods • Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) • Standing, sitting, and walking on hard surfaces • Performing repetitive motions • Exposure to Dirt / Dust, Cleaning Chemicals, Water, Varying heat / cold, Intermittent noise
