Combining combines hands-on machine operation, basic fabrication, and careful inspection to ensure every part meets exact specifications. Ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning different shop tools, and contributing to a team-focused environment, this position offers steady, engaging work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.Wage: $20 to $25/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Swing shift: Monday through Thursday, 10 hours shifts 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. 3 Day Weekends!Essential Functions and Duties:Operate multiple shop tools and machines (like CNC router, laser, water jet, mill, lathe, forklift, and cranes) to make, modify, or repair partsRead work orders, blueprints, sketches, and instructions to plan machining steps and choose toolsPerform basic machining and assembly tasks using standard shop equipment and power toolsInspect parts for accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools, and make adjustments or repairs as neededArrange and nest parts efficiently to reduce material wasteSet up machines for moderately complex jobs, using basic trigonometry to calculate angles when requiredQualifications:2 years of related experience preferredDeveloped basic skills needed to perform daily tasks effectivelyAble to solve common problems independently using established methodsResponsible for the quality and accuracy of their own workCommunicates clearly to exchange information with coworkersHigh School Diploma or GEDGet in touch!
