Heavy Equipment and Dump Truck Operator (CDL-A Required)A locally owned excavation and demolition company serving the Flathead Valley is seeking a Heavy Equipment and Dump Truck Operator. With a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project completion, the team supports a variety of construction and land development projects throughout Northwest Montana.This Heavy Equipment and Dump Truck Operator is responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in excavation work, including septic system installation and drain field construction, and take pride in producing high-quality work.Starting Wage: $30 to $38, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-timeEssential Functions and Duties:Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and other machinery to support excavation and site development projectsPerform excavation for septic systems, drain fields, and underground utilitiesSafely operate dump trucks to transport materials including gravel, soil, and debrisConduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks and equipmentRead and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications to ensure accurate workCollaborate with crew members while following company safety policies and DOT regulations to complete projects efficientlyQualifications:Valid Class A CDL and clean driving recordMinimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience, preferably in excavationExperience with septic systems, drain fields, or underground utility work preferredStrong understanding of site preparation, grading, and reading site plansAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 70 lbsAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screeningGet in touch!
