What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Lead Early Childhood Teacher who is passionate about early childhood development and ready to take a guiding role in the classroom.

Key Qualifications
Pre-Hire Qualifications (Required Upon Application):
Must be at least 18 years old
One of the following is required:
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
Two (2) years of lead childcare experience in a licensed facility
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
Post-Hire Requirements (To Be Completed After Hire):
Completion of Montana state-required early childhood training within 6 months of hire
Completion of preliminary registry courses within 3 weeks of hire
Completion of STARS Levels 1, 2, and 3 within 12 months of hire
CPR/AED Pediatric and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire (training provided)

About Our Center
Kid Kare and Kid Kare Infant Center are licensed by the state of Montana and rated STAR 3 in the STARS to Quality Program—reflecting our commitment to excellence.
We care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, serving Logan Health employees on a space-available basis. Our environment encourages exploration, independence, curiosity, and the development of early skills that build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lead Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a high-quality classroom environment while guiding both children and staff.
Create a Safe, Engaging Environment
Ensure continuous supervision and maintain a safe, hazard-free classroom
Promote cleanliness, health, and safety standards
Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging activities
Lead Classroom Operations
Provide leadership in the classroom, including delegating tasks and supporting team members
Model best practices in classroom management and child engagement
Maintain knowledge of licensing requirements, STARS program standards, and childcare regulations
Support & Supervise Children
Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports all developmental levels
Guide children through daily routines, play, and learning experiences
Recognize developmental milestones and identify potential delays
Partner with Families
Communicate regularly with parents regarding development, behavior, and goals
Collaborate on strategies to support each child’s growth
Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities
Complete documentation, including attendance, observations, and developmental tracking
Ensure compliance with all state and program requirements
Promote Inclusion & Team Collaboration
Respect and celebrate diversity among children, families, and staff
Mentor and support team members to maintain a positive, collaborative workplace

Shift:
Variable - 10 Hours (United States of America)
Schedule: Kid Kare Hours: Monday – Friday | 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
40 hours/ week, 4 10 hour shifts
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
