Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, accurately picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized inventory. You will perform general warehouse tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll interact with customers, suppliers, and team members regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision, prepare merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.

  • Receive and prioritize orders through supervisor-issued work tags.

  • Retrieve items from inventory using manual methods and/or forklifts.

  • Prepare materials for delivery or pick-up by customers, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.

  • Verify the accuracy and timeliness of filled orders before delivery or pick-up.

  • Complete bills of lading for materials being delivered to customers.

  • Maintain organized files for customer pick-up orders, noting relevant information on invoices.

  • Serve 'Express Will Call Customers' promptly to expedite order processing.

  • Assist with counter sales by entering orders into the system and pulling/loading orders.

  • Foster a positive work atmosphere by cooperating and communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent education

  • Strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills

  • Dedication to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external interactions

  • Basic math skills, including counting and performing computations up to four digits

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Basic computer skills, including keyboarding

  • Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and oral communication

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Adherence to workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures

Work Environment

This branch is located in Maui and operates Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. The work involves a fast-paced environment with a focus on collaboration and excellence. Technologies and equipment used include forklifts, RF scanners, and inventory management systems. Dress code is casual yet professional, suitable for a warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kahului, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
