We are currently seeking an experienced and skilledHeavy Equipment Operatorsspecializing in utility excavation to join our team. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for driving and controlling construction equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and graders, in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties:

• Excavate for pipe, drainage, and utility installations, ensuring proper backfilling.
• Assist the line crew by digging ditches, trenches, and hoisting materials with various equipment.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at work sites, including equipment and materials.
• Apply knowledge and experience in utility and mass excavation techniques.
• Utilize GPS systems, preferably Trimble Earthworks, proficiently.
• Efficiently move, load, and distribute materials using mechanized equipment.
• Perform grading and top loading operations with laser-guided or traditional methods.
• Accurately read blueprints and execute work accordingly.
• Fulfill assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving record is required.
• Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement is preferred.
• Offer of employment contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug test.

The compensation will vary based on experience ranging between $38-$45 per hour.
