Insight Global Project Engineer in Juno Beach, Florida
Job Description
Our client in the energy space is looking for a Project Engineer to support the design and construction of utility-scale solar farms. In this role, the candidate will manage third‑party engineering contractors responsible for developing complete engineering design packages for solar projects. Project engineering responsibilities span the full project lifecycle—from initial concept definition through construction and final commissioning—and require ongoing coordination with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project management teams across both early‑stage development and active construction. This position pays $45-51/hour and they prefer someone who lives in Juno Beach, Florida but open to someone who can work remotely in Florida and travel to Juno on a monthly basis.

Skills and Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience
• Engineering and project management experience on utility‑scale solar projects is preferred
• Engineering and project management experience in the following areas may also be considered:
o Distributed generation (DG) / commercial solar
o Other power industry technologies, including wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substations, and transmission
Strong candidates with experience outside the power industry (e.g., aerospace, civil, stormwater)
