Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to join our team in Juno Beach, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support while ensuring compliance with company procedures and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to process improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in compiling data for financial reporting, cost tracking, and budget variance analysis.
• Create and manage purchase orders with a focus on accuracy and minimizing risks.
• Process work cycles and transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Support the Jira service desk by addressing and resolving submitted requests.
• Perform month-end activities, including reconciliation and financial close tasks.
• Resolve vendor-related issues and ensure timely communication to maintain positive relationships.
• Respond promptly to urgent requests, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism.
• Collaborate with multiple departments, including Engineering, Operations, Business Management, IT, Accounts Payable, and the Integrated Supply Chain.
• Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other company controls and procedures.
• Participate in special projects and complete assignments as required.
Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.
• 0-5 years of experience in administrative support, financial reporting, or clerical functions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and basic accounting principles.
• Ability to follow established business procedures and compliance guidelines.
• Proficiency in software tools such as SAP R/3 and Jira is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with peers, customers, and stakeholders.
• A process improvement mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
