JOB REQUIREMENTS: Assigns work tasks to caretaker and perform tasks to supplement and assist caretaker. Processes facility reservations on computer and maintains effective communication with office staff through email, phone and fax. Collects camping, firewood, shelter, and other fees and accurately reconciles sales with receipts. Performs grounds, buildings, facilities and trails inspection, maintenance and repairs; may include but not limited to, trash clean up, painting, Carpentry, sign installation, tree and shrub planting, mowing and other landscape care. Prepares and maintains records and reports as required, includes but not limited to, equipment and supply inventory and needs, damage and incident reports, employee time records and volunteer tracking worksheets. Performs general custodial work; includes but not limited to cleaning, sweeping and mopping restroom facilities and shelters, picnic tables, fire pits. Assists the public with reservations, directions, general aid and information on park regulations, facilities and services. Enforces park rules, policies and regulations. Keeps Parks Foreman and Supervisor informed of problems, incidents and needs, and makes recommendations regarding improvements or maintenance. Assists and monitors the work of camp hosts and other volunteers. Regular attendance and punctuality required. Performs related duties as may be required or assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. Experience in general grounds, building and equipment maintenance, camping, and custodial work is preferred. Some lead person or supervisory experience preferred.
