MiniMed Technician I in Juncos, Puerto Rico

About the Role

At MiniMed, we're looking for a hands-on technical professional ready to take charge of equipment performance, resolve challenges in real time, and collaborate with manufacturing teams to deliver the operational excellence our patients deserve.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Shift: Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Thursday & Friday (6:00am - 6:00pm)

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (6:00am - 6:00pm)

  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.

  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.

  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

  • Requires 0 years of experience.

Nice to Have

  • Associate/Bachelor Degree (Electronic, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology or related)

  • Knowledge of SAP preferred

  • Basic knowledge of electricity and industrial mechanics

  • Knowledge of cGMP and GDP

  • Teamwork skills
