Honeywell Sr HSE Supervisor in Juarez, Mexico
Coordinates the strategy for monitoring activities defined within the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management system, ensuring legal compliance with Mexican government regulations, corporate standards, and plant requirements. Ensures the implementation and sustainability of preventive and risk mitigation programs to strengthen the safety culture and guarantee a safe working environment.
Ensure all operational controls are executed in accordance with management systems, including policies, procedures, ISO standards, Honeywell standards, and applicable Mexican regulations.
Drive a strong preventive safety culture through the implementation, reinforcement, and continuous improvement of HSE programs such as Safety Observations, Safe Check 360, Risk Assessments (CRA), and Champion initiatives.
Monitor and ensure compliance with plant and corporate objectives by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maturity, risk mitigation, CACT, and AOP, proactively addressing potential risks.
Lead incident management activities, including investigations using root cause analysis methodologies, ensuring corrective actions are implemented, closed, and recurrence is prevented across the plant.
Lead and participate in HSE inspections, self-assessments, and audits; communicate findings, prepare reports, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree completed
5 years of experience in a similar HSE role.
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Experience in project management and contractor oversight.
Proven experience managing and monitoring performance metrics (KPIs).
Direct experience supporting and handling government inspections and audits (STPS, PROFEPA, Civil Protection, SSA, JMAS, etc.).
Internal Auditor experience in ISO 45001 / ISO 50001 standards.
WE VALUE
ISO 45001 / ISO 50001 Auditor certification (preferred).
Strong knowledge of Mexican Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Expertise in root cause analysis and accident investigation methodologies.
Effective leadership, assertive communication, and the ability to coordinate emergency response plans.
Advanced knowledge of risk analysis methodologies for hazard identification, risk evaluation, and implementation of HSE controls, as well as environmental aspects management (waste, water, emissions, etc.).
