Eaton Corporation Plant Finance Manager in Juarez, Mexico
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Plant Finance Manager.
What you’ll do:
Job Summary
Develops and manages the financial controls that ensure financial integrity, protect company assets, and maximize profitability for the Juarez, Mexico plant of the CPA Division.
Job Responsibilities
• Business Planning and Performance Reporting - Sets challenging financial goals and develops systems and processes to support the creation of underlying plans and forecasts. Manages against the financial goals by providing comparison of performance to plans, markets and competitors and developing insight on significant shortcomings or accomplishments highlighted by the comparisons. Continuously looks for ways to reduce costs, increase revenues and leveraging operating capital, and rigorously scrutinizes capital appropriations and resulting capital expenditure management.
• Finance and Accounting Knowledge- Proficient in operations accounting methods and applicable financial accounting requirements, under US and Mexican GAAP and all Eaton financial policies. Understands tax, risk and treasury strategies applicable to business.
• Financial Analysis - Rigorously scrutinizes business projects for financial impact using proven analytical tools. Understands important variables in the business; knows how major issues of price, cost savings, volume, mix, staffing effect business outcome. Provides comparison of actual performance of project to stated goals, developing insight on significant shortcomings or accomplishments highlighted by the comparisons. Communicates problems, solutions and recommendations clearly and succinctly. Routinely addresses complex issues and analyses with simplified explanations and presentation. Provides objective analysis and recommendations to management with confidence. Maintains focus on most relevant variables and issues. Has capacity to handle multiple projects and tasks under significant time limitations.
• Financial Integrity and Control - Develops, implements and continuously improves business process internal controls. Provides environment for proactive communication among leadership to prevent financial mistakes and surprises from occurring. Ensures the organization's financial integrity and internal controls are intact.
• Financial Process Improvement and Technology Management - Develops, implements and continuously improves business processes and systems. Applies concepts of lean environment to administrative functions as applicable. Understands the needs of the customers of the system and measures their satisfaction. Assures appropriate linkage of the system and people to the rest of the organization.

Qualifications:
Years and area of experience required
- 5 years minimum in a similar position

Technical knowledge
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting, cost accounting, JIT, Mexican payroll regulations, Mexican and US state and local tax regulations.
• Customs experience
• Fluency in Spanish is extremely helpful, not only for the ability to communicate with the employees in the plant, but also for working with the Mexican Government agencies, external auditors and lawyers of the business
