Jonesville Community Schools Library Paraprofessional in Jonesville, Michigan
*QUALIFICATIONS: *
- Minimum of high school diploma required
- Knowledge of maintaining library records
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, parents, coworkers
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Type and process orders, reports, bibliographies, forms, library schedules, letters to publishers, catalog cards, etc.
- Assist and instruct students in library use and etiquette and selecting reading materials
- Retrieve overdue materials and write notices
- Make simple repairs on damaged books and process more severely damaged books for repair
- Annual inventory of library materials and prepare lists of missing material and material to be discarded
- Shelve incoming books
- Supervise students in the library
- Provide instructional support services under the direct supervision of certified teach staff
