Job Summary
The Laborer Non Union performs essential manual labor tasks to support construction projects, ensuring sites are clean, safe, and operations run efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
Perform general labor duties such as digging, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.
Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., carpenters, masons, plumbers) as directed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, debris removal, and waste disposal.
Operate small hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., shovels, rakes, brooms, tampers, grinders).
Erect and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction equipment and tools.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safe movement on site.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers.
Job Qualifications
Previous experience in a construction or manual labor role preferred but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and climbing.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Basic understanding of construction site operations is a plus.
Valid driver's license preferred.
