Job Title: Project Coordinator (Hybrid)

Job Description

The Project Coordinator will support program reporting, data analysis, and operational coordination for cross bore safety initiatives within a utility environment. This role leverages analytical tools and business systems to collect, organize, and interpret program data, while partnering with engineering, operations, safety, and compliance teams. This position is well-suited for someone early in their business analysis or operations career who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and supporting cross-functional programs. Over time, the role offers increased flexibility with the potential to transition to a more remote work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation using business and productivity tools

  • Collect, validate, and interpret cross bore program data from multiple sources

  • Assist in tracking program performance, metrics, and compliance reporting

  • Partner with engineering, operations, safety, and other internal teams to support program initiatives

  • Provide administrative and analytical support for ongoing program activities

  • Document processes, workflows, and business requirements

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and best practices in program management

  • Support coordination with regulatory agencies and industry organizations as needed

Required Skills

  • Foundational experience in business analysis, project coordination, or operational support

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (data tracking, analysis, reporting)

  • Ability to organize data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

  • Experience supporting utility, construction, field operations, or infrastructure programs is a plus

  • Exposure to safety, compliance, or regulated environments is beneficial

  • Interest in developing skills in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Hybrid work model: four days in-office, one day remote (typically Fridays)

  • Office location: Joliet, IL (non-headquarters site)

  • Initial training period may require five days per week onsite

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
