CT Technologist Trainee (Non-Certified) – Radiology
Starting Salary: $31.30 to $45.33 per hour

The CT Technologist Trainee (Non-Certified) supports the delivery of high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging services in a fast-paced acute care environment. Under the direct supervision of a certified CT Technologist, this role assists with diagnostic imaging procedures, patient care, and image acquisition, ensuring adherence to established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
This is a structured training position designed to develop competency in CT imaging and prepare the incumbent to obtain ARRT CT certification within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
Assist with CT procedures under direct supervision
Produce quality diagnostic images per protocol
Prepare and position patients for safe, efficient imaging
Process and transmit images to PACS
Support Radiologists during procedures
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and documentation standards
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
Radiology state license is required.
Current ARRT- RT Certification is required upon hire
ARRT- CT Certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
Proficient computer skills.
