Detailed Description
Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and customer orders.
Execute weekly production scheduling and work order releases aligned with dynamic demand forecasts.
Collaborate with material planners to ensure material availability and labor readiness prior to production launch.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
Mitigate delivery risks by proactively identifying potential delays, equipment downtime, or supply chain disruptions and adjusting schedules accordingly.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize workflows and resource allocation.
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or delays.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Communicate production status and issues to relevant stakeholders.
Continuously review and improve production planning processes.
Generate material exposure reports for excess inventory and End-of-Life (EOL) components to minimize financial risk.
Track work order to prevent aging orders and ensure timely completion.
Analyze demand loading reports to facilitate accurate weekly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) cycles.
Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and phase-in dates to ensure seamless product transitions.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
Minimum of 5 years experience in production planning and manufacturing.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
Familiarity with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain principles, and demand forecasting.
Awareness of quality standards and safety regulations in manufacturing.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP software.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strategic thinking and proactive approach.
Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.

Typical Education
