Candidates should be able to work individually and with a team in order to meet submittal/project deadlines, have a strong understanding of architectural specs. and contribute to the overall efficiency of the office. This position requires technical problem solving skills, initial conceptualization of projects and strong interpersonal / communication skills for customer relations.
Responsibilities: - Develop Shop Drawings to Match Architectural Drawings and Bid Documents - Utilize AutoCad and Microvellum for Layout of Drawings and Programming - Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously - Communication w/ General Contractors for Submittal Purposes - Work with Project Managers on Project Details - Must Have Great Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills
Required experience: - AutoCAD: 5+ years - 5+ yrs. experience in Casework/Construction Drafting - Microsoft Office Suite -Understanding of Drafting and Architectural Drawing Standards -Knowledge of ADA Standards
