Position: Farm Worker
Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, ability to obtain a valid driver's license with certification and pass a substance abuse screen, 3 months work experience, exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. Ability to communicate in English.

Job description:
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment including manual labor like shoveling; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as pit packing tractor, plastic Nuflex layer, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer's fields, load employer's crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain inventory; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; speak and understand English.
Schedule:
Monday-Saturday, 7am to 3:30pm, and 2 hours on Sunday, 50hrs per week
Anticipated period of employment: 2/1/26-12/1/26

Pay: $16.28/HR, paid twice per month
Effective 1/1/25: Overtime must be paid after 48 hours/week, or 56 hours/week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.
