About the Role As a Group Home Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of a ChildServe Home, ensuring high ‑ quality care, staff leadership, and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role supports 24-hour operations and helps create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children and young adults with special health care needs.
Schedule :
M-F Business hours with rotating on call weekends and evenings
How You’ll Make an Impact
Oversee daily home operations, including on ‑ call duties, safety, supplies, budgeting, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate service documentation, billing requirements, and implement improvements based on audits.
Build positive , age ‑ appropriate interactions with children/young adults and lead care planning with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Coordinate with therapists and other professionals to ensure care needs, equipment, and services are provided.
Hire, train, coach , and support staff; oversee scheduling, manage overtime, and ensure high ‑ quality care through observations and retraining.
What You’ll Need :
Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field; meets QIDP qualifications.
At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and 1 year of supervisory experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship ‑ building abilities.
Skilled in decision ‑ making, prioritization, and maintaining professionalism in changing environments.
Ability to follow policies and regulatory guidelines; proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new software; maintains confidentiality and works effectively with diverse populations.
