Description
Robert Half is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for a leading agriculture organization located onsite in Johnston, Iowa. This role supports customers with delinquent accounts by identifying their needs, providing education and motivation, and helping them successfully resolve past-due balances. What You’ll Do
Support delinquent customers by identifying issues and guiding them toward resolution
Review account details and payment history
Update and confirm customer/debtor information
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies
Assist with resolving misapplied payments
Escalate complex account issues to supervisors when needed
Shift & Schedule
1st shift, 40 hours per week
Overtime available but not required
Work hours fall between 6:55 AM – 6:05 PM Central Time
Additional Details
Visa sponsorship is not available—now or in the future
Assignment approved for 1 year, with potential for extension based on business needs
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong problem-solver who values helping customers
Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Strong computer aptitude with the ability to learn systems quickly
Ability to shift focus rapidly in a dynamic call-center environment
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of customer service experience
Ability to sit for extended periods while handling phone-based work
Capacity to shift priorities quickly
Strong computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Knowledge of negotiation techniques
Experience with or understanding of financial services or collections processes
