Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of park facilities, grounds, equipment operations and visitor services for Pedernales Falls State Park. Performs routine preventative maintenance (cleaning/inspection) of facilities, grounds and equipment. Serves as the Back-Up Utility Plant Operator (UPO) and assists in the operation, maintenance and repairs to the Water/Wastewater Distribution System. Responsible for regulatory compliance in all utility operations and completion of required reports and laboratory testing as required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Operates all types of equipment such as trucks, tractors, mowers and power tools. Provides information to park visitors and general public. Assists in enforcing park rules and regulations, performs resource management tasks and interprets the parks natural resources. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations and procedures.
