UHS Cardiac Ultrasonographer in Johnson City, New York
Position OverviewTo ensure that Cardiology services rendered (the evaluation and treatment of patients) are completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. Those serviced include inpatients and outpatients, UHS staff and employees, as well as affiliated UHSH community groups as needed. Priority is given to services which directly affect patients and supervised staff.

UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY UHS Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton, NY
There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Your recruiter and hiring manager will clarify expectations during the interview process.
Work Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience
This position is not eligible for benefits.
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Graduation from an accredited school for Cardiac Ultrasonography.
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Certification from ARDMS or CCI is required.
CPR Certification within 3 months of hire.
Preferred:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
