We need seasonal employees to assist with the planting, fertilizing and harvesting of crops during the early spring until late fall. Employees will do a combination of duties which includes operating combines, tractors and trucks to plant and harvest corn. Employees will transport harvested crops to storage facilities. Employees will be required to do routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. No commercial truck driving is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous seasons rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each workday. The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and space for food preparation, as well as the necessary equipment, appliances (including refrigeration),cooking accessories, and dish washing facilities (e.g., adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure) that are in working condition and will be used by workers to sufficiently prepare three (3) meals a day. Employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals.
