Responsibilities for a Manufacturing Engineer I include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, design, and oversee the construction, maintenance, and modification of facilities, equipment, and machinery to support operational goals.

  • Develop plant, office, and production equipment layouts to maximize operational efficiency and space utilization.

  • Review and estimate design costs including equipment, labor, installation, and materials.

  • Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and prepare facility layouts and drawings.

  • Prepare bid sheets and construction contracts for facilities and equipment projects.

  • Inspect or oversee inspections of construction and equipment installations to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and timelines.

  • Analyze facility specifications, regulatory requirements, and project feasibility for planning and design purposes.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of short-term and long-term facilities space plans.

  • Support preventative maintenance planning, equipment servicing schedules, and facility shutdown coordination.

  • Maintain quality system compliance and build quality into all aspects of facility engineering work.

Candidates for Manufacturing Engineer I must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) required, preferably in Engineering or related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in facilities engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, facility planning, and equipment layout design.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office tools.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to solve technical problems.

  • Hands-on engineering mindset with ability to work in operational environments.

  • Medical device industry experience preferred.

Pay Details: $46.78 per hour
