We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Quality Intern , based in Woodmead, Johannesburg , on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract . This role is designed for recent graduates and provides hands‑on exposure to quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in a regulated healthcare environment.
What You’ll Work On
• Supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) and document control activities
• Maintaining controlled documents, records, and version control
• Assisting with nonconformances, deviations, and CAPA tracking
• Supporting internal and external audit preparation and follow‑up
• Maintaining training records and compliance matrices
• Collecting and analysing quality data to support reporting and trend analysis
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and cross‑functional quality activities
• Providing general administrative and operational support to the QA team
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• Recently completed degree or diploma in , Biotechnology, BSc, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related field
• Less than 1 year of formal work experience
• Must not be currently employed (recent graduate)
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and documentation skills
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving ability
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
