Spherion Production Assistant in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania
Spherion Williamsport is hiring for 1st shift Production Assistants in Jersey Shore, PA. The pay rate is $17.56/hr.. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
The primary objective of this position is to provide direct support to the Production Operator, ensuring the continuous and efficient flow of product through the manufacturing process while consistently maintaining high quality standards and a safe, clean working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Production Support
- Move materials with carts/trays
- Quality check product before moving to the next step of operation.
- Collect product samples and transport them promptly to the quality check room for inspection.
- Assist the Operator in the inspection of molded/trimmed
- Assist in maintaining all required documentation and paperwork to ensure product traceability.
- Promote and support a Lean environment.
- Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
Job Type: FULL TIME Hours / Week: 40 Work Hours: 5:45am-6pm or 5:45pm-6am Pay Rate: $17.56 -$18.56 USD HOURLY

Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience: 6 months
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
- Ability to communicate orally and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical:
- Must regularly lift or carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.,Required to walk/stand 100% of the time during the shift.,Required to frequently bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.,Constant pushing and pulling of materials throughout the shift.,May be exposed to environmental heat and dust and noise.
