Kuehne + Nagel Inc.Senior Software Engineer Job Description: Senior Software Engineer positions offered by Kuehne + Nagel Inc. (Jersey City, New Jersey). Take technical responsibility for application development with a focus on JavaScript. Play a major role in shaping services and building up a modern architecture for the logistics industry. Shape our services throughout their lifecycle - from ideation and specification, architecture design, prototyping and integration into production systems. Work closely with product owners and business experts across multiple business units. Continuously improve our solutions by evaluating new tools and frameworks. Collaborate effectively with team members across various time zones and locations. Minimum Requirements: • Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of experience in developing software architecture.• Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: • Utilizing at least two of the following JavaScript frameworks: Angular, React or VueJS; • Utilizing testing frameworks for web applications; • Utilizing Git and Docker; • Working with agile methodologies and evolving agile strategies; and • Utilizing NodeJS, GraphQL, Redis or Quasar.• In lieu of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated.• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.• Position reports to Jersey City, NJ office.
