Job Description
AECOM is seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager to join our practice and support AECOM's Buildings + Places business line. Our Project Managers work directly with the client and stakeholders to ensure project and program objectives are met. AECOM's Buildings + Places business line dedicated to excellence and integrated architecture, engineering and interiors design solutions. Clients trust AECOM to design the buildings and public spaces that shape where we live, work, and play while sustaining people, connecting communities and protecting the natural world.
The Construction Project Manager roles will be located onsite with our client in Jersey City, NJ to support the overall management administration of projects and assist in establishing the full scope of project-specific objectives from assessment for SOW proposals through design, bid, and construction phases, working closely with the client and subcontractors.
May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Position may have significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction projects.
This position is augmented staff for a government office and will report directly to the government client site.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the following items, but not limited to:

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering or relevant discipline and four (4) years of relevant project management experience
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
United States Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Prefer 10+ years of experience in project management
Experience in design, problem-solving, sustainable design, and emerging computer technologies
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
Experience working on Federal projects is a plus
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively meet deadlines
Proficiency in project management
Experience reviewing proposals and confirming financial data
Basic knowledge of architectural and MEP building systems

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $108000 to $130000.
